Power begets privilege, and in the long run, power begets covetous behavior. Power gives muscle to empty souls and tiny psyches. Power molds men into cold-hearted fuck-ups. Yes my friends, as the old saying goes, “ Power corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”

...and why would ‘people’ use power to their own ends??

Because we’re all just human. We all want something that’s bigger than ourselves, and when we get it, we go overboard. We spank so much blood into it that the feeling gets good to us. It gets so good that we throw it all over the place. We end up in a world that looks like the ass end of paintball field. People are eating each other, literally and figuratively. Money is power. Fame is power. Strength, beauty, popularity, pure will.. all of these things can bring you power and the world swims in it, an ocean of lies, manipulation and misuse. Who has power over you? Who do you LET have power over you? Even you had a list, trust me, it’s bigger than you think. For most part we’re told what to think, who to believe, where to go, how to act and why. We’re told what to wear. We’re told what we want. We’re told how to get it, and it’s never easy. On an almost daily basis, our minds are made up for us. You probably don’t even realize it, but through TV, through THIS tiny window, the magazines… total coverage for total control. You do the math..
